Christine graduated from the Garman Art Conservation Department at SUNY Buffalo State College with an MA in Library and Archives Conservation. She also holds an MFA in book arts from the University of Iowa Center for the Book in bookbinding and calligraphy. She worked as a conservation technician at the University of Iowa Library conservation lab, and completed internships at the Yale University Library and the University of Washington Library. She completed her third year internship at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. Prior to graduate studies she completed a BA in art history with minors in studio art and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, also completing a one year certificate in art conservation at the Lorenzo de' Medici Institute in Florence, Italy.
